On 3 April 2026, the Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA), together with the Office of National Higher Education Science Research and Innovation Policy Council (NXPO), the Thai Microelectronics Center (TMEC), and Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT), held a meeting with Celestica Thailand to advance collaboration on workforce development for Thailand’s semiconductor and advanced electronics industry

The discussion focused on strengthening workforce readiness through closer alignment between industry and academia. Key topics included talent demand across the electronics sector, recruitment challenges, and practical approaches to skills development through upskilling, reskilling, and work-integrated learning programs that respond directly to industry needs.

This engagement marks an important step toward deeper collaboration among key stakeholders to support Thailand’s transition toward a higher-value electronics industry and to build a sustainable pipeline of skilled professionals for future growth.

Looking ahead, these initiatives will be showcased at the Workforce Pavilion during Thailand Electronics Circuits Asia (THECA) 2026, providing a dedicated platform to highlight talent development programs, strengthen partnerships, and promote career pathways for the next generation of Thailand’s technology workforce.

THPCA remains committed to strengthening Thailand’s electronics workforce ecosystem and supporting long-term competitiveness through strategic collaboration.
