The 2nd Regional Roadshow (Northern Region) brought together universities, technical colleges, industry experts, and policy partners to strengthen collaboration and identify qualified trainers for the development of high-skill talent in Thailand’s semiconductor, PCB (Printed Circuit Board), and advanced electronics industries.

Held from 11–16 January 2026, the roadshow served as an important platform to connect national policy with practical training implementation. The initiative focused on aligning workforce needs across the semiconductor and PCB sectors with the capabilities of universities and technical institutions in the Northern region. It also aimed to help establish clearer career pathways for the next generation of engineers, technicians, and industry specialists.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in knowledge exchange sessions, institutional networking, and discussions on training frameworks, workforce demand, and available government support mechanisms. These conversations helped identify opportunities to strengthen curriculum development, improve industry-relevant training, and build a pipeline of qualified professionals ready to support Thailand’s growing electronics ecosystem.

The roadshow also provided a valuable opportunity for academic institutions and technical schools to better understand industry expectations, while allowing industry representatives to share insights on emerging technologies, required skill sets, and future workforce needs. This initiative represents another important step toward building a strong, sustainable, and globally competitive semiconductor and PCB talent ecosystem in Thailand, reinforcing collaboration between education, industry, and government to support the country’s long-term technological and industrial development.
