The Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA) successfully organized the “Advanced Reliability Testing (HALT/HASS)” Conference on 6 March 2026 at Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Bangkok, bringing together engineers, manufacturers, and industry experts to exchange knowledge and best practices in reliability testing and quality assurance for next-generation electronics.

The conference served as an important technical platform to enhance industry understanding of reliability standards, failure prevention, and advanced testing methodologies that support high-performance electronics and PCB manufacturing. With increasing demand for high-reliability products in sectors such as automotive, industrial electronics, and advanced computing, HALT/HASS testing has become a critical tool to strengthen product durability and ensure long-term performance.

Conference Highlights

Key sessions featured expert-led presentations covering both global standards and real-world industrial practices, including:

  • Understanding the Differences Between IPC-9592A and IPC-9701: System-Level Robustness versus Component-Level Fatigue Reliability
by Mr. David Bergman, Vice President, Global Electronics Association
  • Predicting Electronic Parts Reliability and Failures with Simulation
by Ms. Jadsupa Porananont, Technical Representative, CADFEM
  • Industrial Case Study: Advanced Reliability Testing Practices in Electronics Manufacturing
by Ms. Saranya Yardsamer, Senior Manager of Global Quality, and Mr. Nattawut Ruamsuk, Lead Reliability Test Engineer, Celestica (Thailand) Limited
  • Best Practices for High-Reliability Electronics Production: Reliability Testing Equipment and Best Practices
by Ms. Laya Chen, General Manager, Reliability Assessment Solutions

The conference provided valuable technical insights into international reliability standards, simulation-driven failure prediction, and proven industrial approaches to quality assurance. It also encouraged active knowledge exchange among participants, supporting stronger collaboration across Thailand’s electronics and PCB supply chain.

THPCA sincerely thanks all speakers and participants for contributing to this meaningful knowledge-sharing platform and for supporting the continued advancement of Thailand’s electronics industry toward higher quality, reliability, and global competitiveness.
