On 28 January 2026, executives from the Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA), led by Mr. Swaek Prakitritanon, Vice President and General Secretary of the Association and President of Auromex Co., Ltd., held an official meeting with Mr. Narit Therdsteerasukdi, Secretary General of the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI). The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation to further develop and upgrade Thailand’s electronics and printed circuit board (PCB) industry.
A key topic of discussion was collaboration on Thailand Electronics Circuit Asia 2026 (THECA 2026), a major regional platform designed to connect Thailand’s PCB manufacturers and electronics supply chain with international investors, technology providers, and partners. The event is expected to enhance Thailand’s visibility as a high-quality electronics manufacturing hub in ASEAN and support new investment opportunities within the sector.
Both organizations also exchanged views on the development of the Thailand Electronic Circuit Center (TECC), a proposed national center for training and skills development in PCB manufacturing, machinery, and advanced technologies. The initiative aims to strengthen industry capabilities by supporting entrepreneurs, suppliers, educational institutions, students, and professionals involved in the electronics ecosystem.
In addition, the center is expected to help attract international experts and promote knowledge transfer, further enhancing Thailand’s talent pool and technological capabilities. Strengthening human capital and technical expertise remains a critical factor in supporting the long-term competitiveness of the country’s electronics industry.
THPCA reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with BOI and other key stakeholders to advance Thailand’s electronics industry ecosystem. Through collaboration in investment promotion, technology development, and workforce capability building, both sides aim to support emerging global trends and ensure sustainable growth for the industry.
