On 19 March 2026, the Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA) held a meeting with the Office of the Vocational Education Commission (OVEC) to discuss strategic collaboration on workforce development and talent preparation to support Thailand’s rapidly growing electronics and PCB industry.

THPCA would like to express its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Benjawan Pokpong, Director of the Bureau of Cooperation, for her valuable insights, constructive recommendations, and strong support during the discussion. The meeting reflected a shared commitment to strengthening Thailand’s technical workforce through closer alignment between vocational education and industry needs.

This engagement marks an important step toward advancing industry–academia collaboration, enhancing curriculum relevance, and expanding opportunities for students and institutions to gain exposure to real-world industrial practices. Strengthening the talent pipeline will be essential in supporting Thailand’s long-term competitiveness, especially as global demand continues to rise in advanced manufacturing, electronics, and high-value supply chain development.

As part of this ongoing initiative, Thailand Electronics Circuit Asia 2026 (THECA 2026)—scheduled to take place on 26–28 August 2026 at BITEC Hall 98–99—will feature a dedicated Workforce Pavilion. This pavilion will serve as a key platform to connect government agencies, educational institutions, and industry leaders to drive collaboration, promote workforce readiness, and accelerate the development of Thailand’s next generation of technology and electronics professionals.

THPCA remains committed to supporting national workforce development efforts and strengthening Thailand’s electronics ecosystem through strategic partnerships and long-term talent initiatives.
