The Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA), together with its academic partner Mahanakorn University of Technology (MUT), recently visited Celestica (Thailand) Ltd. as part of an initiative to strengthen collaboration between industry and academia and support the development of Thailand’s electronics ecosystem.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by the Celestica Thailand team, who shared insights into the company’s operations, technological capabilities, and commitment to developing a highly skilled workforce. As a global electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider, Celestica plays an important role in supporting advanced manufacturing and innovation within Thailand’s electronics sector.
During the visit, participants learned about Celestica’s approach to talent development, which emphasizes continuous learning, structured training, and strong cooperation with educational institutions. This commitment reflects the growing need for skilled engineers and professionals as the electronics industry becomes increasingly advanced and competitive.
A factory tour provided valuable exposure to Celestica’s modern manufacturing environment. Participants observed advanced production systems, automation technologies, and quality control processes that support high standards of reliability and efficiency. The experience highlighted how technology, operational excellence, and skilled personnel work together to deliver world-class manufacturing performance.
For students and faculty from MUT, the visit offered an important opportunity to connect academic knowledge with real industrial practices. Such engagement helps universities better understand industry needs and prepare students for careers in the electronics and technology sectors.
THPCA continues to encourage initiatives that bring together manufacturers, universities, and industry stakeholders. These collaborations help promote knowledge exchange, strengthen workforce capabilities, and support the long-term growth of Thailand’s electronics industry.
THPCA and MUT would like to sincerely thank Celestica Thailand for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. The visit provided meaningful insights and laid a strong foundation for future collaboration.
