The Thailand Printed Circuit Association (THPCA) was pleased to participate in APEX Expo 2026, held in Anaheim, California, one of the world’s leading exhibitions for PCB and electronics manufacturing. The event provided an excellent opportunity for THPCA to explore the latest innovations, stay up to date with cutting-edge technologies, and engage with global industry leaders shaping the future of electronics.
Throughout the exhibition, THPCA gained valuable insights into advanced manufacturing trends, emerging technologies, and global market directions. APEX Expo also served as a strong platform for networking and knowledge exchange, reinforcing the importance of international collaboration, continuous innovation, and supply chain development.
During APEX Expo 2026, THPCA, together with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) in Los Angeles, represented by Ms. Navarat Vongbenjarat, held a meeting with Dr. John Mitchell, President and CEO of the Global Electronics Association (GEA), and Mr. David Bergman, Vice President of International Relations, on 19 March 2026.
The discussion focused on Thailand’s strategic direction to position itself as a key investment destination for U.S. companies seeking to diversify risk, expand business operations, and strengthen supply chain resilience—particularly within the electronics and semiconductor industries. This aligns with Thailand’s national strategy to develop a comprehensive semiconductor ecosystem that supports long-term industrial growth and high-value manufacturing.
Thailand’s competitive strengths were highlighted during the meeting, including its diplomatic neutrality, economic stability, and its role as a gateway to the ASEAN market of over 700 million people. In addition, Thailand already possesses a strong manufacturing foundation in the automotive and OEM electronics sectors, which can be further expanded into more advanced and high-value production capabilities.
THPCA is proud to represent Thailand’s PCB industry on this important international platform and remains committed to strengthening global partnerships that support Thailand’s competitiveness in the electronics supply chain.
THPCA would like to express its sincere appreciation to Dr. John Mitchell, Mr. David Bergman, and the Global Electronics Association (GEA), as well as Ms. Navarat Vongbenjarat from BOI Los Angeles, for the valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives and explore future collaboration.
THPCA looks forward to building on the connections established at APEX Expo 2026 and bringing back new knowledge and opportunities to support the continued growth of Thailand’s electronics and PCB ecosystem.
